I don't think that it is any better, in fact WORSE. It still gets riddled with SpyWare. Changing the interface only means that personnel will waste company time learning how to use it. That lost time in productivity will cost million$.

For small companies that use a slightly older version of Quickbooks, IE7 stops them dead, so they have to spend a few hundred bucks on a new version of Quickbooks.

So tell me how the heck America needs IE7?

you can open more windows in 1 called "tabs" firefox is better but dont ever do away with IE cause some programs screw up on ff and it whacks out your html on myspace or on other websites a lot (ff does that)

It is much worse, lthough MS claims they are the same speed:
In order if speed (top = fastest):
FireFox
Netscape
Turtle
molasses in January
IE6
My 10 year old computer
IE7

It's really helped MY laptop crash much more frequently than ever before. It's far outpacing my expectations for killing a perfectly good machine....... OH, and they hid all the useful buttons and don't have a readily available "help" function. Gee, thanks Microsoft.

ther is a data bar at the top so you only have to have one window open and all of every thing is in the one window

its not really. it sucks just not as bad as the first 2 prereleases. beta and rc1
