the question is how do you think this ship moved through the water?

They had "slaves" or people row the boats under the deck or soemthing like that. It consist of only one huge floor, with benches with about 2 people each on it. each 2 people row one oar

they had slaves below deck that moved the oars to pull or push the ship through the water.

From looking at the rows of vertical slats at the bottom,
I would guess a team of men rowing with oars.
