If by "emo" you mean emotional, then there's nothing at all wrong with it.
However, you will find a great deal of ignorant people out there who will take a man's degree of emotional-ness (no, it's probably not a word, but whatever...lol) as a direct indication of their sexual preference. Granted, this isn't true, not generally speaking, but ignorance doesn't acknowledge truth.

there's nothing wrong. some people are annoyed by people who get carried away with it though. there's other ways of getting feelings out without trying to express your feelings ultimately in what you wear. Emo is really a type of music that people have labeled a trend. google the history of it.

Alot of people associate Emo's with people who cut themselves for release. People who do that are not looked at so highly upon because ultimately it's up to the person with the problem to seek out help in a different fashion. People who say they cut themselves but really don't need help, do need help. Cutting is very unhealthy and a sure sign of a psychological issue.

Some people just wear the emo trend for fashion because they like the appeal, or like they way it looks. There's nothing wrong with that. However, some people like to group everyone who is "emo" as someone who is a "cutter" or someone who whines about their problems without seeking help. You'll notice alot of emo kids have parents that are not helping their kids to get the help they really need, or they choose to be unhappy and eventually grow out of that stage.

The fact that you have to ask this question raises flags. You ever hear a thug ask what's wrong with being a thug?

The problem may not be being an ultra sensitive ''emo''. It's more likely that insecurity caused you to ask that question and you need to find out who you really are and stick with it.

yeah, they waste away their life basking in their emotionally distraughtening problems, and they turn themselves into inefficeint and unproductive members of society. They need to suck it up and accept the fact that life is not fair. Maybe they do have a really hard life or they have parents with problems, but they need to make the best of life and move forward from their problems. stop crying and look at what this opportunisistic world can offer.

that they label themselves. emo is short for emotional if your emotional than ok whatever but if you think u have to dress a certain way and listen to a certain type of music than you're just following a trend

Well most of them hate cheerleading and it's peppiness but thats not annoying it's just helping the team.

Most of them whine a lot and saying nobody cares and all in doom and gloom and blah blah blah i say suck it up, bad stuff happens to people all the time.

Some of them wear too much black and that is so boring i say if your gonna wear black that much mix it up with some color dont let black just be your main color thats just boring and weird.
