Having done poorly for my Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics 3 years ago, I failed to get into the fourth year to study for an honours degree; thus ending up with a three-year merit degree. Couldn’t find any jobs related to my degree since the companies are looking for honours degree holders. Wanna study for a Arts degree in Language to make up for the now-useless degree I have. Will my Bachelors of Science result in a lower chance of gaining entry since I didn’t do well? If I didn’t have the degree I already own, i think my A-level results would have given me a good chance of entry into the Universities then.

Would really appreciate any advice. Thank you very much!

You shouldn't have a problem with a 3 year degree completed. You may have trouble getting into really competitive universities/programs, but most universities have recognized the needs of an adult population that will continually be returning to school over their lives.

I'm assuming from the way your question is worded you are in Canada. Things could be a bit more competetive there. In the states with so many universities you would certainly have a chance.
