please help. we had to evacuate my building at work and i had to go down 20 flights of steps. now the back of my thighs ache and my legs feel like they wont hold me up. it is very difficult to walk and especially to go up and down stairs. what can i do to feel better

joemama don't judge me you don't know me. i may not be super athletic but i do excercise. i see my doctor 4 times a year because i am a diabetic. my blood sugar is controled my blood pressure and cholesteral are well within the good range and my heart is fine. i am not lazy.

it goes away with time. some stretching wouldn't hurt though.

Sounds like they are probably tired from the workout they got. It will probably feel better within 3-5 days from the evacuation. If it gets worse or worries you, go to a doctor and have it checked out. In the meantime, rest them and use ice to decrease any inflammation that might be there.

Your legs probably got a workout they're not used too. I've heard from people that work out a lot that taking Vitamin C will counter the acids in your leg muscles which have resulted from the exertion. How much, I'm not sure, but try not to take too much, or you'll have to stay close to the potty!

Take a few days off. Then hit the gym and get your lazy butt in gear. Your muscles have become so accustomed to the couch they don't know what exercise is. I can only image what shape your heart is in. Get with it girl...

tke a bath in warm water with epsom salts and rest, it will get better.

take calcium.get rest .soon.you will feel great.2 days.
