I've gone through this question everyway I could and it always leads to one thing: Don't give a $hit.
Yes have some people that you can trust be near, but block everyone else out.

I can talk from revel in with this one. I'm 21 now and I were in a state of melancholy for approximately four-6 years of my lifestyles. I have expanded and nonetheless am bettering daily. The first step is not to evaluate your self to others. Everyone is their possess person and is specified of their possess manner. You are well at what you do, simply in view that your kind or process of doing matters is one-of-a-kind does no longer imply you're any lesser than your friends. Create demanding situations and limitations for your self to conquer. Overcoming them will create a sense of self success and pride which builds a higher character and builds trust. Certain small matters you'll do is: Dress otherwise: get dressed the way you wish to decorate, no longer how your self worth forces you to decorate. positioned whatever on that makes you smile whilst you seem within the replicate. Exercise: builds pleasant trust if committed to it adequate and is a pleasant strain reliever. Say it!: talk your brain brazenly and freely, do not fear approximately others judging you or what you assert, its no longer approximately them its approximately you.

use to. time to take over your life and let people kiss your ***. sorry but i have been there and im now taking my stand. some will think you are a major ***** for awhile. the ones controlling you. stick to your guns and you will see after some time your self esteem return and your confidence return. so will the others. in the meantime id go to therapy to learn these skills. im a nurse and i went. you see this happens not only to the low income, it happens to the middle class and the rich and famous. doctors, lawyers, that's why people are killed every day . every 20 minutes a woman dies from domestic violence. and emotional abuse can kill the soul and make one give up on oneself. so take your stand and hold your head up high. you will soon be back on track. it will take some time be patient and don't worry what others think or you will go nowhere!!!! be nice as possible but if your being degraded take your leave. thank you.

Never. read Carolyne Myss (1st one I recommend is 7 Archetypes), create personal boundaries, love yourself and all ways follow your heart. All that has been imprinted on you needs to be looked at, some you keep and the rest you leave. Be you because you love living life to be all that you can be. By loving you you do not need external gratification. then the world is your oyster. Have a wonderfull journey discovering you!

Let other human beings control my self esteem? No way.
I'm just visiting this world, my eyes are on a much bigger prize.
So the way the world sees me makes no difference in how I feel about who I am.

No. You have to decide how you feel about yourself. No one can tell you that. Take everyone's comments in stride. If you feel that they have some merit in what they are saying then you may need to consider changing that aspect or compromising. BUT never change yourself to be like someone else. Be true yourself and your beliefs. They can deal with it or move on.

I'm beginning to care less about what other people think, but it's something you have to practice every day. You just have to let only your own thoughts affect you. Good luck, :)

i control my self esteem simply by seeing if i did myself wrong in any way. if i didnt study and get a shitty grade then this hurts my self esteem. i dont wait for others to tell me what to do what to wear. i try to be decent by my own measures. i dont ask for opnions and i dont wait for ones unless it;s someone i trust and is not going to judge

unfortunately yes i do. i wish i could stop. Eleanor Roosevelt once said that nobody can insult you unless you let them. i know in my head that this is true but my emotions sometimes overule my mind.
