I would hold it. I love bugs! Another reason people prefer to stay away from me! I just held a spider for company today during lunch...it was so great. I watched it spin a web...it was amazing...

Smash it. They are sooooo disgusting with their big hard backs. You can't just let it roam around into the cracks and crevices of your home. In Florida they call them Palmettos, but a roach is a roach if you ask me. Once, when I lived in Florida, I sat down on the toilet. When I got up, I noticed it was inside the rim of the toilet seat so I screamed and got the hell out of there.

Listen..it would be cool to go and let it live but you know the facts. If there is one there is a ton more..if not now than later. They breed like crazy. They then get in your cupboard and your stove and everything else. They can survive just about everything. If I saw one, I would kill it and then get roach traps.

Freak out for about 5minutes......then get the can of raid and spray the living hell out of it, Then when it's dead and not wiggerling its legs around i get about 50 tissues and pick it up and throw it in the bin, and then go in and wash my hands under hot running water lol
