I totlally agree with you. Allen has done so much for that team. He has lead them to the playoffs and didin't win. He's been trying to get to the playoffs again but he's not getting help from his team. He's a great shooter and he's a great team captain. but I think he's tired of doing everything for this team and not getting anything in return. He wants to retire as a sixer but so far all the sixers have been doing is bitting him in the ***. The only thing A.I. wants from that team is for them to go the finals and win a championship ring. But I guess the team is not into being champions.

I agree completely. He is a tough, relentless competitor. I think he deserves a lot of credit. He is probably the most dominant player under 6'0 since Oscar Robertson whch is a statement within it self. It is not his fault that he has busted his behind for that team for 10 years and the organization has failed to surrounded him with the necessary talent to succeed at the highest level. That is not his fault people!!! Despite his bottom tier teamates, he has still managed to average 6 assists a game over the course of his career (but he selfish?). In addition to that, he contributes defensively as he is consistently among the leaders in steals (2.2 for his career) and we all know the man can score (28.1). Its time for a change. He wants a ring and I think he deserves one. He getting up in age (though you can't tell by his numbers or play) and considering the way he gets beat up going to the basket, he wants to get a championship before he is too beaten up to play anymore. A ring would solidify his place in NBA history as one of the leagues most prolific scorers and well within the top 50 greatest. He deserves a ring. Let that man go somewhere where he can win and establish his legacy.

I would have to agree, but it's still a business. While Iverson may be one of the most entertaining guards to ever play the game, in this league, results matter.
After a point, the organization has to say, "enough". If they were going to the playoffs every year, his off the court antics wouldn't matter. But when there are no results, the other stuff is intolerable.

while Kevin Garnett heard that Allen Iverson became into going to be traded he mentioned, "sh*t, carry it on, sh*t i like the respond, sh*t who does not prefer to play with the respond, Sh*t, the place's kevin Mchale(T'wolves GM)." i'm from minnesota and have consistently been a extensive Iverson fan, in actuality he inspired me kinda like KG became into insired by using magic johnson. interior the pioneer press on the instant they had 4 obtainable provides, and the terrific one may well be mike james, Randy Foye, and Ricky Davis, yet i like RD and don't prefer to verify him be traded, until that's the only thank you to hold Iverson to minnesota. Philadelphia's president of operations already mentioned that they'll commerce Iverson, and Micheal Jordan, who now may be the GM of the bobcats choose's him, and the bobcats have greater cap room than the different group, that are the place Iverson is headed if the sixers prefer to rebuild their francise. i think of he ought to finally end up in the two boston for Wally Szczerbiak, or Golden State for Baron Davis, yet my funds is on Charlotte because of the fact next years draft is a strong one and that they could consistently finally end up with the variety one draft %. and then while webbers settlement is up they are in a position to have lots, and that i mean a brilliant number of cap room.

Unfortunately I think this trade had to happen for all parties involved. Being the leagues top scorer means nothing if you have the worst record. I know you love A I but missing practice, meetings, etc it was time for a change.

He's getting old and the team is rebuilding. It's best for both parties if he leaves now. They can get young players and he can get a chance to win before he has to retire.
