I had my ears pierced when I was in my young teens and they never seemed to heal..no matter how much cleaning and either it was steel or silver studs...im now interested in getting them pierced again..its been 15 years or so..is there any hope of them healing?? any great tips?...could it be that my body just rejects piercings?..I had my nose done in the passed and that too failed to heal...help!

My body reject piercings also. You probably have an allergic reaction to the metal. The only piercing that ever healed was my tongue and it was made of stainless steel, so try that.

truely can feel your pain, I mean i pierced my ear once when i was just a kid, it did'nt heal and there was a infection and i did'nt bother to do it again until i was twelve or so...and it did'nt work out AGAIN!!!! But i refused to give up and I have done it again just six months ago and wow!!! it is completely healed and I can wear fabulous dangling ear rings anywhere i go....
so maybe it took some time for some people to get the ear to be healed after piercing...
So if you are really into piercing your ears maybe you can give it a try again...good luck.

Well clean your ears every day with some alcohol and keep your earrings in as long as you can for at least 6 weeks so your ears can heal and not seal up

Did you try wearing real gold earrings? I'm allergic to silver and stainless-steel jewelry; when I try to wear non-gold earrings (or bracelets or necklaces or rings), I have a terrible reaction to it. Try the gold and see if it helps.
