im already there is about a father on the road. his family is missing him so he tells them to take a look around cuz theres stuff all around that is a part of him

I believe this song is referring to the singer being away from his wife and children (working away from home).
The singer is letting his family know- although he is gone physically - his heart is there with them.
This is my interpretation of the song.
