Yes, I think so. Vengence is to come at somebody with anger. Like to come at them with a vengence.

Revenge is to get back at somebody. In which case, the person has the feeling they are "paying back" what the other person has sent out, so to speak. I think they are different.

Yes You get revenge for an injustice to yourself,while vengence is revenge for another person.

I think they are the same, different words with same meanings, revenge taken out on someone or someone's things. Vengence, is taking it out on a person for something someone else did perhaps to your family. therefore, what is the difference, its retalliation, however you look at it.

Vengence is more righteous, revenge is more personal (and usually more bloody).
