Finding a job is easy.

Finding a job doing something you want to do, that pays a living wage, in an area you would live in, is another story.

Finance is a good start. Don't jump on the first thing. Just remember that you will never get rich (or retire) working fixed (salary) or hourly wage. Long term, you need to angle for open-ended wage, and/or private practice. Good luck!

To be honest, in any field, any career, the difficulty of finding a job is dependent on one thing: the individual.

As long as you tell yourself you are not going to give up, and you keep giving yourself opportunities, something good is going to happen.

Similarly, if you sit on the couch all day, and wonder when you're gonna get a call for a job, financial degree or no, you're going to have a hard time.

It should be pretty easy to find a job in finance but it depends on what specific areas your are trying to get a job in and where you want to work geographically. I'd go to www.monster.com or www.jobs.com to get a feel of the job market. Good luck!

Not hard. Especially in finance- I always read ads about them needing help in that department. Plus there's lots of workforce centers dedicated to helping people find jobs. And then there's internships at colleges. I wouldn't worry about it- I'm sure you'll find one right away :-)

Depends on what you want. Loan Officer - you can find one today. Entry level banking position - a couple of weeks. Specialized position with great career growth options for top performers only, or the long haul.

By the way - you can make the best money with the easiest one to get (or, you could make nothing).

Shouldn't be that hard. Worst part of it is finding an employer who does not require years of previous experience. Good luck to you! Check with your university and see if they will help you with job placement.
