Other than using bleach, since that often damages carpet. It would leave a white blotch on my beige carpet anyways. I accidentaly spilled a bit of pale pink polish and I need to get it out. Are there any other low cost solutions out there to remove my nail polish stain? (stained my carpet, not wood)

Anything that you know will work is great. But please don't post anything that you're not sure of. Please and thank you.

i used nail polish remover with a white cloth and yea it mixes bad at 1st and most carpets are nylon so the texture wont be same but the color will come out. acetone is nail polish remover dan thast how u have to remove it after then wash the spot blot it not scrub with very hot hot water.. then let it dry repeat again. then if it doesnt come out all the way add baby powder over it a tad bit to blend it in..

OK...I had the SAME problem..same carpet color...my daughter spilled a buncha bright pink polish....
Remover worked on some of it...but not all of it.
I finally talked a dry cleaner into selling me a little bottle of dry cleaning solution. It took several tries using a clean washcloth/cotton rag each time, but it did come out, and didn't damage my carpet.

Spot Shot....I spilled blue nail polish on a white carpet, used spot shot and it came right out, you can get it at Wal-Mart or most grocery stores in the carpet cleaner section and is about $4, takes anything out

Nail polish remover, use soft toothbrush, the process will be slow but hopefully it doesn't do a horrible damage to the carpet.
