For me it's the intriguing combination of skill, dexterity, agility mixed with brute force and ignorance. Watching flowing rugby is like barbaric poetry.

Seeing man mountains crashing into eachother at pace, setting the ball back and delivering it wide with sharp, deft and accurate passes, often interlinked with complex moves and devastating angles of attack.

(Plus, chicks dig rugby players!!! he he)

Ruthless defence, blistering pace and awesome ball handling skills. What is better than seeing Joe Rocokocoko running down the touch line or Brain O'Driscoll splitting open the mid flied defence or Jerry Collins tackling has opponent 5 meters back. And this is not even mentioning the world class skills of Dan Carter and Richie McCaw.

In my opinion rugby is the next best thing after father Christmas

For me it's the fact that you can watch a game even if you know next to nothing and still yell and scream with the best of em when yer team scores or you can see one of your wings break away and run the length of the field and dive under the posts. Once you start watching more and learning more, you can really enjoy the finer aspects of the game.

Well, I'd like to say it's the team work, the skill, or the multidimensional aspects of the game; however, we all know it's the Guinness afterwords. Slainte!
