Cut up your credit cards or let someone you trust hold on to them for you. Or go to Africa for a week and see what the real definition of 'materialistic' is.

This ones easy through the power of suggestion. Actualy the power of a true manifested statement. You say to yourself " i used to be an impulse buyer, but Im not anymore". Catch yourself in an impulsive moment and prevent it by sying this statement. You will find you catch youself less and less. When you do not catch yourself anymore you are then absolutely cured of impulse buying. Even if you do'nt believe this is possible try to disprove it. If you say it , it will become. The more you say it the faster it will happen. I dare you to change.

freeze your credit card- literally. Wrap a peice of paper/alum foil etc over the front so you can't read the numbers. Stick it in a thing of ice in the freezer. Same can be done with cash- though make sure you put it in a ziploc baggie first. That way, you can't spend it until it thaws, and do not carry the cash/cards around with you. It has worked for me.

I use to get cash and go to the store and shop. I would leave all my credit cards and checks at home and just bring what I planned on spending. Once my money ran out I was done shopping. I've also made lists for things that I need not what I want and I bring that with me and if it's not on the list then I can't get it. It works for me and I hope I've helped you.
