Mine were Maureen O'Hara, Audrey Hepbrun, and Julie Andrews. They were all very beautiful, also.

I absolutely adore Audrey Hepburn (and The Dude does not say ADORE so easily).

And the two others are Ingrid Bergman and Rosalind Russell.

Classic beauty and great actresses to boot.

The (Classic) Dude.

I think Julie Andrews was post studio era, and Audrey Hepburn straddled the eras.

My favourites were Kathryn Hepburn, Lauren Bacall and Rosalyn Russell. There were so many great ones though. Rita Hayworth, Kim Novak & Shelley Winters in the glamour style. Bette Davis, Joan Crawford in the serious parts. Ida Lupino rates a mention as the only actress to graduate to directing in that era.

Definately Joan Crawford. She had nice teeth, nice legs, and a pretty face. A great actress. She sure didn't look to good in that movie "Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?", though. They had her made up, I'm sure, but holy crap, talk about a change!!

Jennifer Jones, Merle Oberon, and Olivia De Havilland. I like them not only because of their physical beauty, but they brought depth to their roles, and because they play women of substance.
