I don't get why the teacher gets fired

The PTA blamed her for teaching the stories of rebellious children, because after they read the book Darko did all of the things the kids in the book did. You have to watch the movie a few times to really understand it. It's one of the best though!

I think because She was teaching with a book that wasn't good at all for the students. Do you remember that she had to change it once? well kind of is part of it. Also Donnie flooded the school and burned the house of that silly fear/love guy, i mean Peter, and that are acts of vandalism that appear on that book.
But I actually haven't get very good the sense on that part of the movie.


I don't know what was the point of the "Fat guy" that appears on the movie, do you remember him? his clothes were red, and he appear when Sam and Donnie were almost having a kiss, and also in the party at Donnie's house... She was teaching the kids about The Destrcutors, a short story which the parents thought was too violent.
