I've waxed my eyebrows for awhile now and have just recently started waxing my upper lip. My skin is way too sensitive to try and bleach my upper lip and both of the last two times I tried to have a professional wax my upper lip I've broken out horribley. I even tried using Neosporin on my upper lip and that didn't seem to help either. Does anyone have any alternatives and/or ways to keep my skin from breaking out so badly after getting a wax?

To help ur skin heal faster cut up a piece of aloe leaf and smooth it on the affected area every night...GOODLUCK

Tell your waxer person to watch the temperature of the wax. Often times if the wax is too hot, I break out and/or get read blotches. I also am sure to put neosporin and my acne medicine on it right away. Otherwise your only alternative is not do it. I found waxing to be the least problematic for acne when compared to things like nair etc. Those creams horibbly burn me.

I use neet facial hair removal. Leave it on NO LONGER than the alloted time. as soon as it is over use the neet moisterizer afterward and dont put anything on your face for a couple of hours. So do it on a day when you don't use make up. My skin is sensitive so sometimes a wipe it off a little sooner than the allotted time.

are they using hypoallergenic wax? Some strip less waxes are less irritating too. I stay red for days if I use strip wax so I started using stripless and by the end of the day I'm fine so they are def. more gentle.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

nothing but nothing is better for inflamed skin than vitamin c. you can buy topical formulas to be applied daily. serums are better than creams. make sure the c is at least in the middle of list of ingredients if not closer to the top.
