I plan to be having a kid in about 3 years and was wanting to pick out good names with meaning. Any suggestions?

I am not picking the name right now, I am just making a list. I know I have some time to think about it and me and my husband have been talking about it. Any good name web sites?

There are a lot of good names out there, but why do you want to pick a name right now? I'm sure you'll have plenty of time to pick out a name 3 years from now.
Enjoy your youth and when you are expecting your child, come back to us with that very same question.. :)

Why are you picking names now? That is just pointless. In 3 years time you'll have changed your mind. I didn't even come close to the names I thought I might name my kids. You need to wait until you're actually pregnant and then decide. Don't you have anything better to do in the meantime?

Buy a baby book the name would depend on gender and maybe your partner's input. I have a few names I like Shaun God's precious gift, Robert bright light, Sam (either boy or girl) Tony or Toni .

Just wait til you are pregnant.
Trends swing so fast from one extreme to the other that 3 years from now anything you picked out today would be so out of style you wouldn't dream of naming your child that.

you are asking for names mighty early. 3yrs from now you might not even want any kids. As far as names go, you should wait at least a year before you decide to conceive to ask for them. New names come up everyday. I hope this helps.....

Write down names you like, then put "Dr." in front of it... would you rather see Dr. Muffy Dawn So-n-so, or Dr. Margo Kristine Whosit? Find names you like, then look up on line "baby name meanings" and go from there.

Plan on naming each kid as it comes along and get your husband involved, it's his kid too.
