Contrary to American tradition, my family stays up all night on Christmas Eve. We open present at about 11 p.m. and do fireworks at 12 a.m. exactly. That's the way we did it in our home country. Of course, the party is going on from about 5 p.m. until 4 a.m. It's the MOST wonderful time of the year.
