Yahoo is an independent provider and is not tied to NTL or any other ISP as far as i know. You should be able to open a Yahoo account whoever your ISP is.

Yahoo has nothing to do with NTL world so I cannot see why you think you cant keep your Yahoo email account. I had a Yahoo account before I had NTL Broadband and I will still have it if I leave NTL. Maybe you need to explain what problem you are having a little more. If you mean you cannot access your Yahoo account, via outlook or Outlook express, well you wont, because the pop protocol is set up via NTL servers. You will need to access Yahoo direct or reset your Mail programme to your new ISP.
OOps sorry, Ihave been with NTL for years and I had never heared of their Yahoo Gold deal!!!... You live and learn.

Given the number of questions about old email accounts that you say you currently cannot access, it seems that you may be some sort of knob.
