Steppe
temperate grassland consisting of level, generally treeless plains The steppe consists of three vegetation zones with significant differences in climate—the wooded, or forest, steppe; the tillable steppe, or prairie; and the nontillable steppe.

savanna
a plain characterized by coarse grasses and scattered tree growth, esp. on the margins of the tropics where the rainfall is seasonal, as in eastern Africa. grassland region with scattered trees, grading into either open plain or woodland, usually in subtropical or tropical regions.

I don't know all of them...a steppe is usually like a foothill area near mountains, like the Alpine Steppes, a prairie is a flatland with usually tall grass. A savannah is also a flatland with high grass, but is usually an African term. I'll be interested to see other answers.

well, a savanna is a biome and as far as i know a steppe is kind of like a little mountain i think.
