Why does Hollyweird feel the need to add a Gay anyone to a Childrens Classic Movie?? This is going too far!

Being Black, Hispanic, White or any other color has nothing to do with referencing someones sexuality, so you can't argue with me on that.

I'm with YOU gal....

I think injecting GAYS into any show is disgusting and disrespectful... to them too.

Kids will lose their innocents soon enough.

Kids won't know the Elf is gay...kids will just watch the movie...adults are the only ones that realize that kinda stuff.

And not having gay people in a movie is no better than leaving out African Americans, mexicans, and Asian people...it's racist and disgusting...

Hollywood is in the business of making money and would stoop as low as they possibly can to get it. Same reason they produce shows with Paris Slutton. I'd rather have 1 xmas show with a gay elf if they can eliminate Paris, Nicole, Jessica, Blohan, etc from our screens. But since that won't happen, I change the channel.

It's a silly, made for TV movie. . what did you expect really? The movie seems a bit ridiculous anyway. Gay Elf? Who cares?! What about those half dressed ladies I saw dancing around? I'd be more concerned about my children seeing that!!

I'd be more concerned kids watching harsh violence than a scantily clad woman or a gay elf.

Look, the movie industry ignored all minorities (gay, black, hispanic, native american, asian, whatever) for too long. Minorities are a fact of life in the real world and it's good that movies are beginning to reflect societal diversity not just the plain vanilla families we saw in the 1950's and 1960's.

If a person doesn't like reality, there's plenty of the old biased movies still around. Change the channel. Don't buy the ones with gay elves. Whatever. Just don't tell Hollywood to deprive those of us that want diversity of our shows, OK?

in the original, if you are watching, that elves are a little "gay," as you say. so, they didnt ADD it, they kept it the same.
