People spend money to impress people that they don't like and that don't like them.

Because people think money shows power and status, some people even think that if they spend more money towards another person then it shows love.

Money means nothing, people think they can be satisfied by buying or renting high class items. But people in this world people are full of greed, if a person buys a N80 now next year or year after same person would like to get N95. So people tend to spend all their hard earned money.

In reality all the people are idiots if they spent it prove their love or to impress someone or most importantly to show off !

Good question indeed. Because "Expenditures rise to meet Income" says Parkinson's Law of C.Narthcote Parkinson, famous Historian and writer. There is also the fact money not spent is of no use. People spend on essentials and unwanted because they have money.

Someone who lives a moderate lifestyle and spends mainly on necessities, with an occasional splurge, is considered an excessive spender by the poor, and frugal by the wealthy.
