i go into italy chat rooms, or even in italiano chat-----and all the people who pm me, or at least the majority----arn't italian and/or speak no italian at all. they're from india, phillipines, pakistan, or here in the usa-----
im just curious why people go in there when they dont speak a work, or even know what "ciao" means.......................i dont get it-----
i dont go into the japanese chat, or whereever-----i go to practice the language, not continually ask, over & over............what are u doing in here???

I suspect that they haven't worked out that it is meant for people from Italy. I suspect that many of them can't speak English very well or haven't grasped that Italian chat is for people from Italy or looking to improve their Italian.

Excellent ?! Sadly, people do not do their research before they join this site. Some are lost for various reasons. But, I doubt that any malice is involved. Perhaps, you shoul ask Yahoo answers for the reasons these mistakes happen.
