YES!!!! Cutting oneself is not a good thing to do, and you might've saved her life!!!! Who cares what the other girl's friends think! If they give you a hard time someone (like your teacher) should tell the parents what is going on because that is not something to ignore or be in denial about and they could explain to these girls that it's not wrong that the teacher got involved, unless of course the parents are smoking crack, then it wont matter what is done. But anyway, you did the right thing and more girls should be like you!

Yes, you did do the right thing. When I was in high school there was a friend of mine committed suicide. Not a week goes by that I am not reminded of her in some way. We all knew that she was having some issues, but no one stepped in to see how deep the problems had went. Had one of us been paying closer attention, she might be alive today. Just remember whatever happens, you did do the right thing. Because you were brave enough to stand up and care, this girl can get the help she needs and just might live to see the rest of her life unfold.

You did do the right thing in telling your teacher, because you never know what your friend might have done. It is a sign that she needs help real bad. So don't feel bad that you told on her. You are a better friend to her than her other friends who just stand by and watch her do this. They will get over it. Good Luck but if they do try to do anything to u i would also turn them in. Just be careful ok?

Oh yeah u did the right thing. If those other people are getting pised off because someone told on their friend than they are really not good friends. A friend should see that there is something wrong with a friend and try to help that person. U are a really good friend. Forget about if they find out. If they do than tell them that u area abetter friend to that girl than they are. They should go and do themselves.

you did absolutely right!
Don't you have any doubts about it.
And from what happened you just learned that doing the right thing is not necessarily going to make everybody happy.
There will always going to be someone who's angry with you. That's why most of the time doing the right thing is SO incredibly difficult. But you have to know that what you did potentially SAVED LIVES.
We are not talking here about reporting to the teacher who painted blackboard pink, we are talking about LIFE & DEATH issues.
I know it was difficult to telll your teacher and I know you are very worried right now but I want you to know that looking back you'll be proud you did it.
Keep up good judgement.
Good luck.

No, trust me sweetie, you did the right thing. Anything else would have been WRONG. She hurt herself, she hurt another girl, she could have hurt you and plenty of other people besides. You're her friend, you knew she was doing something wrong and you stopped it. Good for you. And don't worry about those girls- as long as you and your teacher don't tell, they'll never find out. Good job :)

I think you did exactly the right thing. Unlike in the movies, the right thing doesn't always get you marching bands etc. Sometimes you get exactly the opposite from others. But inside, you will feel a greatness growing. A courage. It's a wonderful feeling. Your friends will change and go away, but you will always have...you.

Somebody needed to do something. The girl is calling for attention and she's not going to stop until she gets professional attention.

The anger is another way to get attention.

Be careful, but you did the right thing.

You absolutely did the right thing. These other girls are not looking out for your frend's best interest, and you are. She needs help, and the only way to get it is for someone to break the silence, and you were wise and brave to tell someone. Kudos, and good luck. I hope everything works out.
