Most of Michigan is beautiful and many of the people are wonderful...that is if you avoid Detroit, Flint and Saginaw...nasty places.(you see already one nasty reply from a detroit person..pity them they are not happy)
In the Upper Pennisula, is beautiful wild country and wonderful folks. Traverse City is lovely and St. Joseph in the south west is wonderful too...many many other places.

Anywhere where there are people that love and care about you and you them. For that is the true meaning of the holiday, sharing with those you love.
