ladies help! i was thinking of getting a gift basket from body and bath works and add a robe from there too for a friend. I was wondering adding the robe would be an awkward addition to the gift or should i add something else like some mentha lips shine?

If it is for a younger woman, please consider going across to Victoria's Secret for the robe, in the "Pink" section. Slippers or something may be free with the purchasel. Or maybe one of those cute PJ sets from there? I think it is a great idea for a gift. I would recommend getting Body Wash instead of lotion, as women seem to collect ALOT of lotions. My wife has a whole basketful she cant use fast enough. For christmas, B+BW has a few holiday scented body washes.
EDIT: After some thought, I wonder if you should consider some PJs from VS. Those cute sets (not necessarily the flannel ones, although those are nice). Not all women wear a robe that much and maybe the PJs would be more useful.

That sounds great! I would love getting that. I'm not sure what type of friend it is, but if you think that robe might be kind of strange, the mentha lip shine is really great also! I have a few of them and I love it!

well that is a great gift and if i were you id get the robe and the lip shine women love gifts like this and if your just friends shes not going to take it personal or anything she will really like it remember your just friends so get it all

The gift basket is a good gift from bath and body works. sometimes u can add some nice candles or lip gloss, from there. most woman love bath and body works gift basket.

OMG! a robe is such a great gift along with the giftbasket. We women love to be pampered and a nice soft plush robe is great. I say get it.

Body Shop is the original place, The one you mention is ripping them off copy cat. And The Body Shop uses the most authentic ingredients and formulas from indigenous people around the world. Go with them AND add the robe if you like...doesn't sound awkward to me.

The robe is godly! I got it last year and it is the softest thing EVER. I don't think they would take offense to such a nice gift!
