I feel for you. I liked IE 6 better. Before you make any changes consider that beside the cosmetic changes IE 7 is a more secure version than 6. I wish the would've keep the old layout bu think they have to make it look different.

that's right the newer version hun is protecting you more so as older one is more attackable to predators now. BUT you can hit system restore.. before you updated but then it is vulnerable to Trojans even with updates from Microsoft. You also each month should back up your comp to a CD in case you need to reload those registry files etc again if your comp gets fried by a Trojan. you need a back up and labeled. the files u burn to a CD using neo etc.. and pick it out of your programs c drive. the whole file use on 1 CD. in case as times an error will occur.. u might be missing things and in that CD it can overwrite and reinstall. i personally would use mozilla firefox to get into net and browse and use internet explorer 7 as default. as some things moz wont let u get into but do browse and connect thru moz

Right, the 2 above me are correct.

In add/remove proggys, Check "Show Updates" and then select Internet Explorer 7.

You'll reboot and be back to IE6.

You can do one of two things:
1. Download and install Firefox, and then uninstall IE7 and get the ie6 download from download.com ( using Firefox as your browser) and install that, or..
2. Get used to IE7. Microsoft makes it rather difficult to mess with IE.

Add/Remove Programs and remove IE 7 and it will automatically go to IE 6.

Good luck trying to go back. You have to know how to erase ie from your computer. not an easy task. then you would be able to reinstall an ie6.

7 is better, but its footprint is larger and the last thing computers need is another large program haunting them.
