I'm a big fan of rock, but I've found that the lyrics are full of lies. For example, I went down to Paradise City, and the grass was not green, nor were the girls pretty. What other lies have you found in your favorite rock songs?

@ Guns N' Roses Girl: It's not a serious question genius. I know the song isn't talking about a real city. (Btw, there really is a place called "Paradise City", it's in Arizona. Mapquest it.)

Tell me about it. I checked into the Hotel California, and while it was a lovely place, there has been plenty of wine and spirits there since even after 1969. Also, I was able to both check out any time I liked, and actually leave.

I dont like some of the rock because its just perversively yucky, and bare to my virgin ears lol and really they have no chnace of getting a girl

Your listening to the wrong bands then. Most high profile "main stream" bands use cookie cutter songs with lame lyrics, half of which are not even written by any member of the band.
