I don't know how old he is, but I know he has been playing football for a while. I hate to see him go, has he said when?

He's 26 years old now, he's playing football for 9-10 years now as he started at Brazil's Gremio youth in 1997-1998 season. I'm sure he'll play footy till he can't play it anymore as he loves football. No worry, you'll be able to watch him and the ball in 10 years time from now.

He is 27 years old of course he is NOT retired he still has like 5 years left I don't think any player has retired lately especally at the beginning of a new season they would have retired before the season started

I'm not sure and he didn't say when! I think in 8 years,but I think that even if he'll retire he'll play football till he won't be able to kick the ball! lol,I hope we'll see his magic many years from now!

I doubt it'll be anytime soon. He has quite a few years on him yet. At least, 6-8 yrs.
