Because if Singaporean women goes to NS, it will burden the Singapore a lot as Singapore needs a lot of people in the workforce, especially when more and more people are getting old in Singapore.

Yes they will be strong
but militairy service is not very good for the free will and creativity as they are drilled like all other armies in the world to follow only orders without question.
Think females more difficult to drill as they will question more..... so more difficult for officers to controll for this army does not really want them outside of the other problems of mixed army.
Women in Singapore/Asian mentally more mature then the men........ so are they guys matured by NS ?

I'm so sorry to disagree with what you perceived. NS has no effects to make Singaporean men less snobbish and open-minded, as I met so many Singapore men out of NS haven't been less snobbish and more open-minded, which is quite comparable to some Singapore women.
I believe whether one Singaporean is not snobbish and open-minded, regardless of one's gender, is quite individual.
So talking about NS will benefit Singapore women is groundless at all. :-)

Singaporean guys are typically nerdy, wear 5 inch thick glasses, basketball freaks and dress ugly. It's good the PAP brought in the NS system to beef them up.

Well, if they did, the women would probably complain or something, and the government would make it so that it was mandatory for only guys.
I'm a few years away from NS, which scares me, but I think I'll get over it eventually.
