No, I don't think it has anything to do with jealousy, just with the nature of your questions. You should not take offense, but learn from it and re-think your questions before asking them.

I think some people just do it randomly... Like a drive-by thumbs downing!!! Others do it after they answer a question... Perhaps at an attempt to sway the askers vote.
Good question!
If they had to choose a reason for giving a thumbs down there would probably be less of them.
