Flash drive usually has a switch somewhere to lock and unlock it. Check your drive again. If it's not there than the setting is in the software that you installed with the drive. Look for something that say lock and unlock drive .

Look all around your flash drive for two symbols that look like a locked padlock and an open padlock. Using a toothpick or (carefully) a pin, move the tiny switch to the open padlock.

Try formatting it in Fat 32 or fat, if not return it to manufactuer, they usually do one to one exchange
