Either get your doctorate and teach, or get a job as a clerk.
Might find something in advertising.

You could work as a Master's level counselor. Many/Most insurance agencies now no longer pay for sessions with a PhD level psychologist - too expensive. You could also work in the school system as a guidance counselor - good money, great benefits, summer's off. You could work for private schools as a residential adviser/counselor. You could work in a resident juvenile mental health center/hospital. You could be a Youth Counselor/Minister in a church. You could teach at the high school or community college level - maybe even a 'low end' 4 year school. Usually have to have a PhD/PsyD to teach at the 4yr college level.
Buy/check out a book on Careers in Psychology to get more info.
ps A psychiatrist is an M.D., not a PhD. You go to medical school for that.

I am a Grad school applicant for psychology. What can you do with psychology?
Well, research seems to be the focus of psychology nowadays.
Whatever you do it seems you must support yourself with doing research.
For example, you can teach psychology! But research on the side Lol
It really depends what area of psychology you are interested in,
you can
Do marketing for firms
Work with judicial systems
Therapy
Clinical work
Counselling
work with groups (like rehabs, AA etc) or devise your own programs
The first thing I would advise is finding out what aspect you would like to focus on, I find I truely enjoy forensic psychology and am applying for a concentration in this for grad school.Once you know what area(s) interest you ... doors open for what you can then do with your degree. Oh and, having a BA in psychology will get you about 3 feet out the door of university lol. A masters and PhD are the best route to being able to get into great fields in psychology!
Good Luck!!!

You could be a counselor in whichever psychological field you chose (i.e. children's psychologist). You can't really do much without a Master's in the psychology field. Even social workers require a master's degree to get decent jobs (and no, there isn't usually a lot of money to be made in that particular field).

my brother is doing a masters in psych. one of the options he told me about was being a school psychologist which is a decenlty paid job(although I think you might need a special certificate). Also with a masters(and I think some hours, certificate etc) you can be a licensed family therapist( a "shrink"). Someone said a psychiatrist, thats not true, you need medical school training for that.(PHD)

Hopefully, something to do with Psychology!!! A BS or a BA is worthless in that field, but a graduate degree should get you some jobs...

Become a psychologist?
Seriously though, I would like to make technical psychological concepts more accessible and acceptable to the masses. Stuff like behavior modification, or perception and attitude, or cognition. I'd like to make the unconscious more readily understood consciously. I'm pretty baffled by what people think is "in their nature" and unchangeable, I'm pretty astounded by how much people limit themselves and their abilities, how little control people think they have over their lives.
