I have searched ebay and I know that Hallmark didn't start making them until 1976. It is really important to me, this is for my husband. His mother got rid of his when he was nine because she changed religion and didn't think that It was that important to keep. So now I have my baby first with our sons and I would like to find for my husband.

Go to Wal Mart and buy one that says baby's first and have then engrave the year you want - that's how I replaced my little girls when it got lost while moving.

I suggest going to a store that makes customized ornaments and just having them engrave his name and the year of 1974. Try to find one that looks old fashioned so it doesnt not seem totally out of place as brand spanking new but dated 1974.

Have you tried searching for vintage Hallmark dealers online? However, if Hallmark didn't start making them until '76, it might not be a Hallmark. It may be a Carlton, American Greetings, or some other company.

Ebay is the biggest site, there are a couple of others you might try as well.

I provided the links below for you. Good luck.
