Are studios supporting only the Blue Ray technology (like Disney or Sony Pictures) will release their features on HD DVD as well...?

If Blu Ray wins, then of course they won't, there would be no need. If HD-DVDwins, then of course they will, they would have to. As for while both are still around, Disney would be a possibility, but not Sony, they make Blu Ray hence they are not going to give in unless their hand is forced.

blu-ray is so much better, although i can't get as many blu-ray movies here it has been easy enough to order them from the states or elsewhere. not only are they releasing new movies but they are also releasing old movies on to blu-ray too, they have quite a collection actually. planet earth was one of the first blu-ray things i got and i was blown away with how crystal clear the picture is. obviously the fact that the blu-ray discs store more data makes them more favourable too, we're going to see a whole lot more of special features etc which is great for movie fanatics. it will be interesting to see how they fill the discs.

The studios aren't making any major commitments until they see that more players are bought to play the discs.

I hope Blu-Ray wins. It holds more than HD DVD.

I'm guessing no beacause if they say that they are only going to make something in Blu-ray, then they will only make it in Blu-ray. But for now most companies are making them in both formats to play it safe.

Go Blu-Ray!!!!!
