If you see Windows Live Mail, and the new Yahoo Mail interface, so nice, so dinamic, you realise Gmail team is sleeping, because also there is a lack of very basic functions there (like a little windows to your contacts in the "compose" windows). When will Gmail wake up and realise if they don't do something to improve, will loose their users?

well go to there google group that takes care of suggestion, and ask them.

I really like Live mail, the right click menu and the fact you can drag and drop make the experience that much better

If you ask me, Gmail's interface is great.
It loads fast with no ads while still providing exemplary service.
I think a new one is being planned...
