I believe PC's are more value for money cos you can upgrade them and the cost can come down fast in a few months e.g. graphics cards. Contrast with consoles where they bring 'em out and then replace them with new ones and rip you off for hundreds. I have personal experience of this. Better to have a PC and anyway it's good cos you can also use them for surfin', media, chat etc. Over to u.....

Not gonna lie pcs are amazing for grafix but you cant get into it. you cant jump up and down, scream or anything. on the 360 with the wireless controller, I jump up and down scream and play on my downstairs 42 incher with LIVE!!! if thats not worth it then give up on games. you shouldnt have to sit still in an intense firefight.

PCs cost more then consoles. There's little getting around this. Even though when you upgrade a console you're replacing the whole thing it comes around only about once every 4-5 years and the amount of money you'd spend on a new console is similar to that of a new video card (which if you really want to keep up you're replacing every other year). The prices of both will then come down over time. Sure you have budget PC gaming but then that's far more expensive then budget console gaming. Having said that there's ups and downs to both and if you prefer PC gaming more power to you. I'm more into PC gaming at the moment because of World of Warcraft but both have their shining moments.

I prefer consoles because I usually don't have the money to sink into a higher-end computer, and until the PS3, consoles have been pretty affordable. I'm also more comfortable having my data in a more secure place...the way I see it, everything glitches once in a while, and the more applications I'm subjecting my PC to, the more likely errors could happen. That's also something I probably wouldn't worry about if I had the money for a top-of-the-line computer and any modifications.

But the other reason why I'm a console girl is because I like supporting Nintendo, and I'm fine with their type and style of game. I want Nintendo to be still be in the game, and not just develop video games for other platforms. I like Nintendo because most of their games have a high replay value and I enjoy playing them with my nephew (his favorite system is the original NES)

That being said, my reason for prefering consoles is mostly sentimental .

who's dropping money? Sweeping generalisations on listed right here at the instant are not clever. besides, I even have merely as quickly as offered a console at complete fee; or maybe then it replaced right into a psand the fee had dropped under one hundred notes for a clean one in the previous I even seen it. maximum video games i'm getting are pc - the form of stuff i like to play would not desire a console. even with the undeniable fact that, we've merely offered a Wii, 2d hand with a loose sport chucked in and an entire 3 hundred and sixty 5 days's areas guarantee at no extra beneficial fee. infrequently getting ripped off. And different than for the rest, the Wii has an advantage that no different console provides. you will get video games that make you exercising. I savour you have worked in a sport save; even with the undeniable fact that so has my spouse and the practices you stated do no longer take place there. lower back, generalisation isn't continually clever. Consoles are, frankly, no longer somewhat mandatory in any domicile. in case you have have been given one, it is not when you consider which you like one it somewhat is when you consider which you like one. Oh, and by no potential make the errors in assuming scruffy potential adverse. I used to artwork on trains pulling a catering trolley around. i spotted a guy sitting in first-type wearing knackered denims and a battered jacket and theory to myself that this guy's gonna get shifted while the conductor shows up. Then I observed who he replaced into. Suffice to declare he's definitely properly-known and owns a recording studio interior the North West Highlands. you have got heard of him. ok, his music's pish, even with the undeniable fact that it sells. And he's definitely minted.

I also think that PC's are the better value over console systems. The only thing about console systems that I like is that they have games that are only for that console. But nowadays, these new consoles are becoming super computers connecting to your television.

pc's require a hell of lot more maintenence than all the consoles stuck together.

Consoles are just plug and play, away you go.
