Seems nowdays there is just an unconditional hatred for the man, that nothing he could do would please the left (not that he would want to) except for stepping down. Does anyone else notice this?

It is very true that some leftists give us all a bad name by blaming everything on Bush and saying the world's ending because of him and calling him Hitler.

Frankly, everyone who's seen me answer on the political boards knows that I don't like our current administration. Though, there has to be some level of sanity for political debate to happen. Sure I very much dislike the guy but there's a small amount of respect there and frankly I'm not going to lie and say that I think he's trying to destroy America. Conservatives who say that Bush has America's well-being in his heart are right. He does, I just don't believe he's doing what's right to get there. The problem is, though, that for every liberal who thinks that Bush is always wrong and Michael Moore is always right there is a conservative who thinks Bush is ALWAYS right and should be followed no matter what and that anything bad is Clinton's fault.

I support people being able to support or not support Bush. I dislike, however, that these new liberals are giving us a bad name by being ignorant and these new conservatives are giving republicans a bad name by being hyppocritical and ignorant. Why are people so afraid to listen to the other side? When someone makes a point through a logical though process I give them kudos. It's why I'm unsure of abortion and illegal immigration.

People are pretty stupid, huh?

Bush is definitely the objective of greater irrational hatred. whether conflict of words or subject or maybe downright concern of his regulations won't be irrational. subject approximately Hillary's skills to lead our u . s . won't be irrational the two yet because of the fact that she has not even been nominated yet i might evaluate hatred in direction of her extremely irrational. we surely could approaches to view politics with somewhat much less interest and slightly greater rationality. we've been at this for over 2 hundred years and we nonetheless act like eu soccer followers.

Nope. and we both know it,Alex.

Bush is in fact the worst president we have ever seen in our lifetimes and the disaster in Iraq is getting to be almost unconsciable at this point.

This site is largely to the Right of the mainstream the voted Democrat for accountability and real answers to the hatefullness and pomp that has come to define the hypocritical right.

He SHOULD step down. How the hell much damage must Bush do before you have the right to notice?!

Quit this "I was trained to be a mouthpeice for a Right that doesnt give a damn about me" schtick and play it straight. If John Kerry won,for instance, the healing process in this country would have gotten underway a lot sooner.

No, but the right's unquestioning support is irrational. It's not based on reason or fact. Happily more and more people are coming to their senses, as witnessed by Bush's continuing plunge in the polls to the high twenties.

The left became irrational before he was even president. It started in 2000 when the left was willing to do anything (trying to change the rules of the electoral college, denying military votes, doing incessant recount after recount hoping one time the count would go their way, and every other childish act) to try and get Gore in office.

The left is already irrational and highly emotional. They were such long before Bush came along.

I don't see how you can say that Alex if you put it in perspective. You conservatives, including yourself, take every opportunity to bash Clinton. You will even create opportunities to bash Clinton. Bill Clinton has not been in the political spotlight for 6 years. Even Ted Kennedy's incident of nearly 40 years ago is brought up frequently on yahoo. Bush is in the here and now making mistakes and decisions that, you have to admit, if the shoe were on the other foot and it was Clinton, you would be going ballistic. So if you put it in perspective, I would not call it irrational at all. I am surprised that you do.

Yes. I feel that they are inviting the terrorists to invade our country through any means possible because they hate Bush.

These bleeding-heart liberals will be surprised with Islam comes knocking their door down and takes all their stuff away and makes them live like they do in Iran, Iraq, etc... They'll really be bleeding then.

I've noticed that as a general rule,"hatred" is rarely unearned, It's an emotion that is easily triggered for a multitude of reasons, but rarely for none...Love,however,seems to be quite blinding....

he has trouble with the truth...other than his lack of love for the Constitution, letting corporations rip up the environment and creating a hornets nest in the Middle East and promoting oil use over alternative energy development...the guy is average at best...these things make him malignant
