It just occured to me that Mel Gibson has been playing mentally derranged characters in movies for a long time. In fact, I wonder if most of his roles over the years would fit that description. I don't know. Do you think that theory is accurate, and if so, which movies would apply?

Maybe we've all done some crazy things, but I think there's something more to this in Mel's case. But for the moment, I'm more interested in focusing on his movie roles.

The only movie I can think of where he was deranged was Conspiracy Theory. i don't know if Lethal Weapon 1 counts cause he wanted to commit suicide. I dunno, Mel's actin kinda crazy right now.

Mel Gibson has not acted any different than anyone else. The media just wants to blow things out of proportion, as usual. Think about all the crazy stuff that you have done, but nobody gives a sh*t because you aren't famous.
