Anybody as distraught as i am. i was so looking forward to this game in the summer, they delayed it saying it's not finished and its out now. within 2 mins of switching it on i had to turn it off and am absolutely f'ng mortified at what they have done. no back story, no training, starting as supes running, RUNNING around.ea should lower their head in shame. the setup besuperman.com and duped us with hype and i just managed to hold back tears. i swapped it for justice league heroes. thats what saved me from distress!!!!

I'm a PC guy, rather than PS2, but I'm a huge comic book fan and it's a shame they blew this. My brother bought this on PS2 for my son for Christmas, but this morning he said he'd tried it and it was pathetic. He was taking it back and swapping it for Justice League Heroes too - I wondered for a second if you were him when I read this, lol. So you are not alone. Sounds like my son will be glad he swapped.
I agree with the person who said check Gamespot.com for reviews, they are usually spot on, especially taking the community opinions into consideration as well. I never buy before reviews any more - too many burnt fingers.
Haha! Starts with Supes running around?! WTF? It's not a Smallville game! Movie tie in's often suck. EA often suck. EA Movie tie-ins... you do the maths. It's a shame for the fanboys like us though.

Superman Returns is a very bad game. Better get Marvel Ultimate Alliance for playstation2. I have a PS2 and i give it a 4/10.
I like GameSpot Reviews, they set score in games like this one.

the game is okay it could hve been better i beat it ibn 1 day you do the same thing over and over again do not buy it rent it
