Conservs conservs conservs - when will you EVER get it? There were no WMD's in Iraq and Iraq did NOT do the WTC 9/11 attack - will you idiots EVER understand there is NO connection between 9/11 and Iraq? So invading a foreign sovereign country, taking over it's leadership and killing thousands of people, as well as promising that 'democracy' will be the new form of government is not a crime? Ok, so China comes to the USA because we HAVE used weapons of mass destruction, and still make them, they overthrow the government, kill you, your family, your pet, your girlfriend and your wife - you wouldn't consider this a crime? Who was w trying to 'protect' us from? The terrorist Osam bin Laden and gang are in/near Afghanistan. Look at a map numbskull - Iraq and Afghanistan are no where near each other. Geez, don't they have any books, magazines, newspapers in the red states other than Hustler and Monster Truck?

Apparently we have another reincarnated stool sample that is as blind as a albino in a snow storm. Like I said before, Bush is a hero, just like Stalin, Hitler, Pinochet and here, a blast from the past - Idi Amin.

I am the Fringe and when you believe these people are heroes it is time to say hello to Betty Ford. I ain't no lib but you are an obtuse tosser.

I consider myself pretty progressive, but I'm not accussing Bush of committing any crimes. He does some good things, but he's just generally not consistent with my values. I'm not going to accuse him of committing crimes for that. I wish more people would argue based on facts rather than emotions.

Bush has not committed any crime. Even the wire tapping was done with Congressional approval.
The Patriot Act was made a law. He read the results of studies done and some of them were incorrect, but that would be the fault of the people conducting the study, wouldn't it? Repeating Intel from the CIA and Great Britain (which I happen to think was accurate) is not telling a lie or deceiving anyone.

His main crime is that he authorized the illegal tapping of communications of Americans without a warrant. The NSA legislation only allowed spying on foreign calls. Calls originating from the States has to have a warrant issued after 72 hours.

He authorized it...unilaterally. GO GET THE WARRANT. It's not hard. A federal judge is on call 24/7 to approve them.

That's why.

As President he swore to uphold the Constitution...by going around the FISA Court, he broke the law...the law was created by Congress, signed by a president and upheld by the courts...he did not have the right to make up his own law all by his lonesome in complete opposition to standard, legal procedure...sure he broke the law. the FISA court was lawfully created to prevent any president from going it the cowboy...and yes it was legal, GWB can't just decide what laws he will enforce and obey and what he won't

Then prisoner abuse in violation of what the Supreme Copurt later said...that's a close one, don't think he actually broke the law. But there are innocent people that he had tortured...and yes it was torture...in violation, once again, of standard, traditional, legal methods...and the Courts said so...oh, but I forgot, you people think the Courts have way too much power and should be abolished
