If you're stuck on what to get someone, think about what they like and what they are into. No one here but you knows these people. I sometimes wonder if maybe human interaction is nonexistant if people truly don't know what someone likes or is into, becasue that type of thing is basic knowledge.

right, so I'm not sure if you're actually asking a question or making a statement, but I start my Christmas shopping in January, buying stuff on clearance if I see something I know someone will like. I do agree that knowing at least in part what would interest someone is a basic part of human interaction though.

Here is a thought, they are too lazy to get up off their duffs and go out and actually shop, which includes looking at a lot of different things till something hits them that "this is the perfect gift for..."
