by far ryan howard....he batted .313, 58 hr, 149 rbi with no one protecting him in the lineup...pujols had plenty behind him like edmonds, rolen etc..who protects howard? Pat Burrell who hit .258. enough said...he hits for power and for average...he almost single handedly tok his team to the playoffs. He is the best player in baseball.

TWO WORD - ALEX RODRIGUEZ
yea he may had dat bad year last year but over all he had bigger numbers than other players who didnt have a slump he has great numbers and the best records in MLB

The best all-around is probably Alex Rodriguez. Listen, I know he's not showing it recently but if he keeps on pace he will easily break the All-Time Home Run Record by far! And his fielding is great (not a 3rd base). Which stinks.
