I think the short ones do, but not the tall ones. I'm 5'7" and it's always so awkward to be taller than guys, even though most are my height or taller, some are still shorter than me.

Not at all, for a couple of reasons:
1)I'm taller than that
2)I'm already married (but even if I was single, I wouldn't be intimidated just because you were above average height).

not unless your a badass muddafukka like Angela Gossow or Otep Shamaya 5'8'' is only 2 inches taller than me when your 6 foot then you are intimidating

No not really. Depends on your attitude and how you carry yourself. A person of smaller stature can be very intimidating in their own way. It doesn't really matter if you're tall or short it's still what's inside that matters.
