I didnt know it was a BIG DEAL, theres a lot of women out there that are dating/married to men that are shorter then them.

My husband is short. I am shorter than him. He dated a girl taller than him. He couldn't handle it. He said that it's just a guy thing. It's more about insecurity.

If the man is substantially shorter than me, his face is right in my chest. It makes me uncomfortable.
(But I think the reason why most women want a taller man is they want to feel protected by him.)

It shouldn't be, but that's the way society is. My ex and I are the same height. What made people snicker is that I was a good 100 lbs heavier than him. I didn't mind but apparently everyone else thought it was hilarious.
