On one side it has "Andrea & Colin" and "One Copper Dollar", Los Angeles XXIII Olympics, 1984 is on the other side. This piece is numbered. I can't find anything about this coin and I would like to know.... Keep in mind, I was just a little kid when the Los Angeles Olympics were on back in 1984... I barely remember watching the opening ceremonies... Or wait was it the closing? Anyhow, my question stays the same... What is it and what would be it's worth^

First of all it is not a coin but a token or medal. A lot were made in L.A. area as advertising items. Also the transportation system made up special ride tokens and I think there were 12 different types. A lot os trade type tokens were made that had a dollar on them, but usually a date that it expired. I might be of more help if I had a scan of both sides. We need to know more before a price can be found. Most medals and token of modern times are not that rare. Yes 1984 is modern.

I actually have a replica of "2001 time-honored Catalog of world money"; this is the twenty 8th version (unsure of maximum modern difficulty). i will look them up for you in case you record usa, denomination and date.... yet remember the superb i might desire to do is inform you if it replaced right into a low mintage three hundred and sixty 5 days and what it would desire to be worth in a given situation (aka grade)... coin expenditures are in line with shortage, situation (you're able to desire to be taught to grade good) and marketplace call for. the fees interior the catalog are in undemanding terms a instruction manual... what you're able to anticipate to pay in case you walk right into a broker's keep with a storefront. it fairly is barely a instruction manual... basically like artwork artwork, expenditures can circulate greater or decrease.
