I would like a name to call my makeup business that could possibly include my name. I was thinking of "Interstitial Beauty" but am open to more ideas.
And I would also like clever ideas on how to attract more clients. I would like to do weddings, pageants, "makeup parties", and events. All help will be appreciated.

start with people you know. if your good, they will start spreading your name around. your friends will tell their friends who will tell their co-worker who is about to get married who has a neice thats doing a pageant. see how it works? so start with the closet people, the ones that will be honest.

I think "Interstitial Beauty" would be too hard for people to remember. You must pick a name that is easy for people to actually remember. I don't know what your name is, but you could call your company "Beauty by (your name)..." As for attracting clients, a newspaper ad is always good. Keep it short & simple (and low-cost) by advertising your "revolutionary beauty line", and invite the public to a makeup party that you can have in your own home or the home of one of your friends. You can then demonstrate your line and take orders that same day!! Good luck!!!

For naming a make-up line I wouldnt necessarily put my name right in the title. Maybe do something like Blank by (your name) For the actual name of your company do something that is fun to say and young. EXAMPLE- Confetti by.... or Vixen by.... Something that will appeal to young people.

Okay... that was lame...
But, something like "Lips and Lashes" might be cute, and that way you're incorporating the Ash part of your name...
