Posting stuff on ebay is easy enough. deciding whether to rely on auctions or ebay stores is the question.

Auctions can go crazy, getting you a lot of dough. But that doesn't happen much these days. I think stores are the better option.

Auction descriptions are another key to selling. Having an old recipe book might get you a fifty cent bid. Posting it as a hippie cookbook will get you $20. Words like kitsch, hippy, look!, ultra-rare, etc can bring a lot more attention.

Keep half.com in mind, too. They're linked to ebay and its a great way to sell stuff. Once its posted it stays posted and there are no fees until it sells.

This time of year is the big selling time on ebay & half.com, not necessarily because of christmas, but because the days get short and folks just buy more stuff this time of year. But ebay is never completely inactive, so start whenever you feel like it.

Sell stuff you like, otherwise you'll hate ebay in two months. Be creative. nobody makes more money on ebay than the folks that sell boxes and bubble pouches to the other sellers. Smart, huh?

You sell an item by creating an Ebay account, then click "Sell Item." It will walk you though. You want to provide a good discription and point out any flaws in the item (if any).

Set a price where you are willing to sell an item and people will bid it up from there. You're other option is "Buy it Now" where you can set a price you are willing to sell it at right away.

Don't forget to include your shipping costs.

Be clear about what payment methods you accept.

Ebay has a very good Help and Tutorial section that I recommend checking out.

Hope that helps a bit. Good luck.

The best Free Dropshipper that I use is http://www.BuyatDiscounts.com the prices are low and they have over 50,000 products. I have been useing them for over a year now to sell products on ebay. They have great customer service and super quality, easy to sell products. They also offer packages to build a site of your own if you're interested in that. Overall I would give the site a 9 out of 10! There aren't many sites like http://www.BuyatDiscounts.com who let you DropShip. Trust me, I looked for months! If you're interested in your own site check out this link http://www.buyatdiscounts.com/marketing/...
I hope this helps you and good luck!
